Default Question about elemental damage

Just a quick question: Can someone tell me what creatures (or category of creatures;ex.undead) take more damage, or less from a certain element (earth, fire, air, water)?

I know that undead generally take more damage from fire attacks(like the hellhounds), but I'm not sure if that's the case for all of the creatures in the undead category.

Thanks

From what I've been able to determine...

Rangers and Warriors takes the least from any elemental damage that does not ignore armor or resistance

Desert creatures take less damage from earth and air.
Creatures in Fire Island take less damage from fire
Creatures in Shiverpeaks take less damage from cold

Ice Siege Golems and their kin from the Shiverpeaks take more damage from fire

I can't say anything else though.

im pretty sure undead in FoW take normal damage from fire...
Ones i can think of that take extra dmg from fire are all plants, ice golems, dark titans...

Shiverpeak and other Ice enemies take extra damage from fire, and, in turn, less from ice.

Maguuma and other Earth enemies take extra damage from fire, too. I guess they take less earth damage than others, though who knows?

Fire enemies take extra ice/water damage (as proven when me and my guildies did Hell's, and winter + kindle arrows destroyed the titans).

It seems that the above are the main differences in elemental damage. I don't know if there is any enemy that takes extra damage from earth or air, though.

Wow all these people make blanket statments about enemies in shirverpeaks...well point of fact ice does more damage to more enemies in the shiver peaks than fire.

Most enemy types do not have inherent weaknesses to any particular element. Youll find that the majority of enemies are either armord or unarmord.

Most of the enemies that look elemental based as in ice golems flame spiders etc are weak to the opposing element.

Just b/c something is in an ice zone doesnt mean its weak to fire. Obviously Ice golems are but unlike alot of games that reskin thier enemies with properties intact anet often changes the base resistances and armor class so its hard to make blanket statments about elemental weaknesses.

^ True. The Griffons in Shiverpeaks are weak against Lightning, not by fire. The weakness are based on species and the profession, not the area.
